Excellent team spirit

On the 9th of July it was time to put on our running shoes again. At the 13th Nördlingen city marathon a total of 28 athletes from SPN Schwaben Präzision, cheered on by colleagues and family, were on the start line; these included for the first time both managing directors of the drive specialist from Nördlingen, Rainer Hertle and Georg Jaumann, as well as five women. With this strong team, SPN Schwaben Präzision achieved third place in the ranking for the sportiest companies and was awarded a voucher for an individual guided tour of the city. A total of more than 1,300 runners and walkers mastered the six-kilometer course through and around the beautiful historic centre of Nördlingen in summery temperatures of about 26 degrees – more than ever before. After a short breather the SPN running team will end the season at a barbecue in July and redeem the voucher for the guided tour of the city straight away. After the summer break the running group will start training again regularly from the middle of September.
