A hot potato of the medium-sized economy is the lack of skilled workers. That's why SPN Schwaben Präzision has been focusing on its own training for a long time. Now the company wants to promote its own employees even more. In view of the Vision 2028 at SPN, a committee was therefore founded, which created the junior staff development program (NWK@SPN).
After all, the professional development of employees makes a central contribution to securing skilled labor. Qualification measures in the company help to actively shape structural change and prepare employees specifically for future challenges.
We want to provide our employees with attractive support opportunities so that they can benefit themselves," says Larissa Mattmann, human resources officer and project manager.
The starting signal has been given - the NWK project has begun
The kick-off took place on 28.11.2022, here the participants got an insight into the funding program. In addition, an online questionnaire was used to determine the type of each individual according to the DISG model. In a personal conversation with Dr. Theobald Humbert (trainer of INtem) the insights of the person were discussed even more specifically.
On 13.12.2022 we were then in Kloster Holzen for the first team workshop, where we acquired extensive knowledge about leadership and the external impact of a leader. The learning is not imparted by pure listening - group work and interactive work are a big part of this program. Thus, we were able to master a small domino challenge that evening and derive insights from it.
In the new year 2023, a one-day training will take place once a month, as well as the constant support by Mr. Humbert by means of e-mail and telephone calls.
