In March and April, the certificates were handed over at SPN. On 24.03.2021 we could hand over the certificates to our trainees. One month later, we were also able to congratulate two of our students on their graduation.
Lukas Hurler, Tim Löffelmann, Oliver Wagner, Jannik Hahn and Sven Thum successfully completed their apprenticeship after 3.5 years as industrial mechanics. In addition, Hanna Ganzenmüller successfully completed her training as an industrial clerk after 2.5 years.
The five trained industrial mechanics are employed in the various process chains of SPN. In the future, Lukas Hurler will be employed in the process chain for individual parts on a conventional lathe. His tasks include the production of tools and individual parts. Tim Löffelmann is employed in the process chain Soft Large, where he is responsible for the complete machining of a wide variety of saw sections and blanks (DMG CTX 800 and Spinner TC800 machines). Oliver Wagner has found his place in the Finishing process chain, but he will leave SPN on May 31, 2021, to take up a new position. Jannik Hahn has been transferred to the process chain soft small department. He can be found at the Index C200, which is taken for the complete processing of bar stock. And last but not least, Sven Thum finds application in the process chain hard, he will work on the internal/external cylindrical grinding machines Voumard 150I and Voumard 150II as well as on the Studer S120.
Hanna Ganzenmüller will support the sales department in the future. She is in constant contact with our customers. Her main tasks include, for example, the processing of incoming orders and complaints, as well as the recording of inquiries. Since her technical task (topic: from customer inquiry to order confirmation) is also related to her current field of work, she perfectly complements our team in sales.
In April, our two dual students (Richard Helmle and Felix Meißner) completed their Systems Engineering studies within the standard period of study of 4.5 years. Both Richard Helmle and Felix Meißner were taken on as permanent employees and are now working in the Development and Testing department as mechatronics developers. The focus of their work is on the development of mechatronic products, the correct selection of sensors and motors, as well as the further development of digitalization in their department (digital twin). Both students will build on their bachelor's degrees with the master's degree.
