Since the beginning of March, the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) has been making an extensive contribution to the fight against the spread of the Corona virus. So far, more than 3,000 THW helpers have been deployed throughout Bavaria.
Also in the SPN there is an active task force. Through the release of Florian Seiler, Schwaben Präzision was able to make a small contribution to the support. However, first and foremost, thanks go to all the helpers who care for people in need in their spare time and provide dedicated assistance.
Florian Seiler has been performing his honorary duties in the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief since 2005. His last missions were the snow disaster (winter 2019) in Berchtesgaden and currently the Corona pandemic.
Logistics remains a major task for THW in the current crisis, Florian said. Across Germany, helpers are transporting gloves, masks and disinfectants, as well as sample tubes for Covid 19 tests to central logistics bases.
According to his personal assessment, one should not underestimate the Corona situation and stick to the general rules.
