Nördlingen, 08.12.2023 - The company SPN Schwaben Präzision Fritz Hopf GmbH is pleased to announce the inauguration of its new company hall. The inauguration ceremony took place on 8 December as part of the internal Christmas party in the new production hall.
The new company hall marks a significant milestone in the development of SPN. Equipped with the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities, it will represent a significant expansion of our production capacity. This move is part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and providing world-class products and services to our customers worldwide.
The inauguration ceremony began at 18:00 with a warm welcome from Commercial Director Georg Jaumann. Jaumann gave a brief review of the year for all employees and emphasised the importance of the new hall for the company and thanked all those involved who had contributed to the successful completion of the first construction phase.
He then handed over to Production Manager Alexander Deffner, who is in charge of the SPN construction project. Deffner outlined the construction process for the production hall and gave an overview of the milestones and challenges, in particular the archaeological investigations during the construction phase. He concluded by thanking all the construction companies involved. He made special mention of the smooth co-operation with the project management of the companies Eigner Bau, Graule Elektro and AFS Airfilter Systeme.
The guests, including the members of the advisory board of SPN Schwaben Präzision Fritz Hopf GmbH, the board members of the Fritz and Lieselotte Hopf Foundation, employees of SPN and the employees of the construction companies, enjoyed a relaxed evening in the festively decorated production hall with mulled wine, a Christmas menu and live music. The new production hall covers 1,450 square metres and was designed and built in accordance with the latest environmental standards. It is particularly noteworthy that the new hall was built within nine months of receiving planning permission.
"The expansion will enable us to increase our production capacities and respond more efficiently to the growing demand for our products. This not only strengthens our competitive position, but also creates jobs and supports economic growth in the region," says Georg Jaumann. In addition to the production hall, a new logistics hall and a photovoltaic roof are currently being built over the existing company car park.
