SPN donates at Christmas to the parents´initiative of childeren suffering from cancer Lichtblicke e.V. and to OXFAM Deutschland e.V.

SPN makes nice Christmas presents: some days before the annual closing of the traditional company based in Nördlingen, the parents´initiative of childeren suffering from cancer Lichtblicke e.V. based in Augsburg and the Oxfam Deutschland e.V., an association of different aid organisations and development organisations, are happy about financial support by SPN. As in the past few years, SPN does not make presents to business partners and clients, but instead, donates to these two charity organisations. The amount was increased also this year by the senior manager Lieselotte Hopf. Thus, this year a donation amount of 2,500 euros can be divided and thus, be given to charity organisations. On Thursday, 21 December 2017, SPN´s managing directors Rainer Hertle and Georg Jaumann welcomed the managing director of Lichtblicke e.V., Thomas Kleist, for the symbolic handover in the plant of Nördlingen. The organization Oxfam Deutschland e.V. based in Berlin has sent in advance appreciative greetings and a donation certificate. Lichtblicke e.V. based in Augsburg has been helping for more than 30 years in an unbureaucratic and fast ways when a child develops cancer. This can mean financial support, communication of assistance, with technical equipment of the oncologic station in Augsburg (Swabian pediatric oncology at the clinic in Augsburg), with cancer research or through the parents´house in Augsburg, which offers safety and calm to families directly at the clinic premises. Oxam is a global emergency and development organization passionately working with conviction, knowledge, experience and many people for one aim: a fair world without poverty. In crises and catastrophes, Oxam saves lives and helps to re-build livelihoods. But help at the short term only is not sufficient. Therefore, Oxfam works in the long run in over 90 countries with around 3,500 local partners on guaranteeing the availability of land and water, on running resource saving agriculture, on enabling a democratic sharing, on promoting gender justice and on giving access to education and health care. SPN´s donation will be used for education for children in especially poor regions.
