SPN has trained Jana Baumann and Markus Stiefenhofer who have passed their final exams in the professions industrial management assistant and industrial mechanic with excellent results Ladies first: Jana Baumann started her training as industrial management assistant at SPN Schwaben Präzision in September 2015. She has passed all departments of the drive specialist based in Nördlingen, also the production departments. The time when she stood in while the colleagues of the tool procurement department were on holidays in August 2017 was Jana´s highlight. During this period, she could work independently and use masterfully the knowledge which she had acquired over the 2 years. Furthermore, she really liked the work in the management assistance / marketing department as the everyday work was very varied and exciting. In November 2017, she wrote her written final exams and orally presented her presentation of the specialist task to the audit committee in January 2018. She managed all of this brilliantly and the crowning event of her training as industrial management assistant was the presentation of the vocational school certificates in January 2018. Having achieved a grade point average of 1.3, she was awarded “best in her profession” by the school administration. Dear Jana, congratulations on this excellent performance! We are proud of you and wish you all the best for your professional future! Jana Baumann received a permanent employment contract and currently works in the production planning department. “Jana is flexible and very able to learn. This is why we can deploy her at the moment in any department which needs help. In so doing, she can broaden her knowledge and gain experience. In the long term, Jana will become a member of the management assistance, which is where we see her strength,” training instructor and Commercial Managing Director, Georg Jaumann, said. Markus Stiefenhofer did not start his career at SPN from the beginning. He began his training in September 2014 at company Kathrein in Nördlingen. As Kathrein was closed in 2015, SPN took over the ambitious trainee as industrial mechanic. He also passed all production departments and passed an intensive basic training in the training workshop under the leadership of of training instructor Peter Kuhberger and his deputy Sascha Nebrich. Markus especially liked the versatility and variety of the training. You get intensive insights into all production sectors. He does not have detailed future plans yet. For the time being, he is working with a permanent contract of employment in the “process chain unhardened parts with larger diameter” on different gear shaping machines.  Markus had his theoretical exams at the beginning of December 2017. In February 2018, the practical exams followed. He also passed his vocational school period excellently and thus, we can also congratulate you, dear Markus, on an excellent training as industrial mechanic! Markus Stiefenhofer can call himself “best of his profession” of the year, just like Jana Baumann, having achieved an average grade of 1.7! Congratulations!
