Once again this year, apprenticeships at SPN Schwaben Präzision began on the first of September 2023. A total of twelve new apprentices and one dual student started their careers at SPN, the highest number in a long time.

Christoph Barnet, Jakob Lierheimer, Viktor Paraschenko and Max Sodomov are now starting an apprenticeship as cutting machine operators. There they will learn the art of milling, turning and grinding to produce high-precision components for products. Later, they will be taught how to operate and programme machine tools.

The three prospective industrial mechanics Luca Gebel, Leon Hach and Silas Mack focus mainly on the maintenance and repair of our production facilities. They also learn the different machining options on the machines.

The industrial clerk training of Larina Anton, Daria Moll and Jasmin Scherrer covers various departments, including, for example, accounting, purchasing, sales and human resources. They learn business basics and become our skilled workers of tomorrow.

Tobias Strobel and Niko Jurina, the two prospective warehouse logistics specialists, are the organisational talents so that all goods are in the right place at the right time. From goods receipt to stocktaking and storage, the two learn everything. They also pack and ship our own products.

Nadine Steinheber is completing her dual study programme in mechanical engineering "Bachelor Plus" at SPN, which means training and studying in one. The apprenticeship starts with building up the knowledge for industrial mechanics in the first year. After that, she receives a solid basic education in engineering, alternating between SPN and the university. They work on the development design, manufacture and testing of our drives.

A total of 31 apprentices, including the newcomers, are currently undergoing training at SPN.

The apprentices were also warmly welcomed by Georg Jaumann and Rainer Hertle, the management, who wished them a good start at SPN.
