A balanced diet contributes decisively to our health and fitness. Many of us intend to eat a healthy diet in day-to-day life but only some succeed.
For this reason, the work group „Health and Sports“ of SPN organised some events about „diet“. In co-operation with AOK Bayern, the employees could take part in different cooking classes. The themes reached from „Schnelles für Berufstätige“ (i.e. fast cooking for employed persons) to „Gesundes Grillen“ (i.e. healthy barbecuing).
On 8 April 2019, the design and development department – for example – took part in the AOK class „Mediterranean cooking“. After a short theoretical part about the basics of the healthy Mediterranean cooking, delicious dishes wered cooked with lots of joy. Some examples: zucchini carpaccio, herbal redfish filet on lentils, Italian cheesecake and much more.
Many male employees took part in the class „Gesundes Grillen“. Whoever thought that barbecuing only includes meat was taught better. They barbecued salmon in kohlrabi leaves, sweet potatoes, green asparagus, mushrooms or cos lettuce. Furthermore, they also barbecued self-marinated t-bone-steaks and roastbeef.
The participants all gave a positive feedback.
