On Monday 15 July 2019 our annual excursion of our trainees of SPN took place.
We, 20 trainees and our supervisors Peter Kuhberger and Sascha Nebrich arrived at the site of Kuka Roboter GmbH in Augsburg at 9.30 am where the excursion started with a tour trough the company.
KUKA employs 800 workers at this site and is specialised in the production and promotion of robot systems, production machines and production plants. We gained an interesting insight into KUKA, e.g. during the visit of the assembly or the new development centre.
After the company tour we continued with the next agenda point. We played lasertag tension, also in Augsburg. After the first round we already noticed that this was a demanding task but every participant enjoyed it. This successful excusion ended with a common dinner in the Goldener Schlüssel restaurant in Nördlingen. For this, our works counsil chairman, Norbert Wanger, joined us.
We would like to thank our youth and trainging respresentatives as well as the management for having organised and paid for this great excusion. Furthermore, we would like to thank company KUKA for the great company tour.
Conclusion: a great day for everyone of us which we will keep in good memory!
