PRESENTATION OF 12TH PROMOTION PRIZE OF THE FRITZ AND LIESELOTTE HOPF FOUNDATION

On the occasion of her 99th birthday, Lieselotte Hopf (Head of Fritz and Lieselotte Hopf foundation) presented, together with Dr Gerhard Brandmüller (Head of Fritz and Lieselotte Hopf foundation) already for the 12 time the promotion prize of the Fritz and Lieselotte Hopf foundation. The proud prize winner is called Sebastian Fuckel this year. Sebastian started his training at the piano in 2007 with Mr Rainer Brauneis. Already in 2013 he passed the D1 test and in 2017, the D2 test. Between 2013 – 2016 he played in the ensemble “Peanuts”. Since 2016, he has been playing in the ensemble “Rieser Musikschule Big Band”. He performed at the closings concerts of the Rieser Musikschule and of the Chaos Orchester, as well as in the Geno hall of RVB Ries eG Nördlingen.  The prize winner showed his skills at the festivities on 25 October 2017 at Meyers Keller at the piano and delighted his audience. The 25 October this year was not only special for Mrs Hope as it was her birthday. Thanking her for the longstanding promotion of young musicians of the Rieser Musikschule, she was appointed honorary member by Ernst Meyer (Head of the Rieser Musikschule e.V.).
