During the winter holidays from 26 – 28 February, students of grammar schools in the Donau-Ries region and of the higher secondary vocational school in Donauwörth took part in the „SchuleWirtschaft“ project week.
The „SchuleWirtschaft“ project week, which is organised by the Wirtschaftsförderverband DONAURIES e. V. (economic association), took place already for the 4th time this year. During this time, students from 10 – 12 grade had the possibility to gather information about professional possibilities offered by companies in the economic region Donau-Ries.
SPN for exmaple presented the dual study course „Systems Engineering“, but also typical training professions like industrial mechanic. All in all, 6 students visited us. Employees of our design department and 2 students presented all the information to the students.
„Is is good to see that many young male students and also some female students are interested in the study course „Systems Engineering“. My personal impression of this course in our region is very positive. The local school and company are a clear advantage to me being a citizen of Nördlingen. The course topics are very demanding but also very diverse. Some topics are more easy to understand than others, which are more difficult, therefore, the possible students should have a broad technical understanding and a lot of self-initiative,“ Felix Meißner, dual student in the 8 semester at SPN said.
