As a result of a tombola carried out at and by SPN Schwaben Präzision, the company has now handed over 500 € to the palliative ward. It has been a tradition at SPN Schwaben Präzision based in Nördlingen for years to raffle presents of suppliers during a tombola to its employees. Aftwards, the proceeds of the winning tickets is donated for a good purpose. "The works council has organised the tombola during the last two years now. Last year, we donated the proceeds to the "Nördlinger Bürger in Not" foundation. This year, we decided to donate the money to the palliative ward. The money should be usd for a good purpose locally which made a decision in favour of the palliative ward very easy, "head of the works council, Norbert Wanger, said during the handing over of the donation. "Thanks to donations like this, we can finance services which the health insurance does not pay for. For example arts/breathing/aroma therapies. "These additonal services mean an improvment of life quality for our seriously ill patients. The donations which we receive symolize support an acceptance for us. We are happy that your work is recognized, "chief physician Dr. Thomas Handschuh said during the handing over of the donation.
