In the framework of our “SPNgoes4.0” strategy, we will introduce – together with Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen - the digital assistance system “Value Factoring Version 3“ with a Zoller database TMS Tool Management Solutions.
It is important for SPN Schwaben Präzision in Nördlingen to continuously invest in modern technology in order to further increase efficiency in all work steps. Besides many investments in the machine park, the project DigiPro@SPN for digital production was started on Monday 10 December 2018.
As a next step, we will create a new standard in machining. Therefore, it is our target in 2019 and 2020 to handle the order planning, order preparation and order realization of all turning and machining machine centers digitally. Furthermore, all tools are administrated in a full 3D database.
SPN´s Technical Managing Director, Rainer Hertle, said: “Increasing the process safety further and reducing the efforts necessary for the setting-up considerably are the targets of this project. This is important mainly due to our many custom-made drive solutions requiring small and medium quantities. It is also very important to improve our product quality through standardized processes and transparency. This will bring us a big step forwards with the assistance system ValueFacturing together with the tool database TMS by Zoller.
